Back Rails

Back rails are 3½"x 1½" (87 x 38mm).

Lengths available from 12' (3.6mt), 10' (3.0mt) and 8' (2.4mt).

Gravel Boards

Gravel Boards are 6" (150mm) wide.

Lengths available: 12' (3.6mt), 10' (3.0mt), 8' (2.4mt) and 6' (1.83mt).

Feather Edge Boards

All our Feather Edge Boards are 5" (125mm) wide.

Lengths Available: 12' (3.6mt), 8' (2.4mt), 6', (1.8mt), 5'6" (1.65mt), 5' (1.5mt) and 4' (1.2mt).

Capping strips

Capping strips are.  10' (3.0mt) long and 5 sided 2½" x ¾" (65 x 20mm).

Recessed capping strips are. 14' (4.2mt) long and 4 sided 2¼" x 1½" (65 x 35mm) recess width 1" (25mm).

FEATHER EDGE KIT FORM FENCING

Post Sizes for Feather Edge Kit Form Fencing.

5" x 4" (125 x 100mm) posts are available in:  8' (2.4mt) long.

4" (100mm) post are available in: 12' (3.6mt), 9' (2.7mt), 8' (2.4mt), 7' (2.1mt) and 6' (1.8mt).

3" (75mm) post are available in:  9' (2.7mt), 8' (2.4mt), 7' (2.1mt) 6' (1.8mt) and 5' (1.5mt).

The 3" (75mm) post are not recommended for our F/Edge Panels or the F/Edge Kit Form as this type of fence is too heavy.

The KD treated posts are guaranteed for 15 years against rot.

Kit form F/Edge fencing is a do it yourself type of fencing. It is ideal in gardens where the  ground slopes

where standard panels would leave gaps between ground and fence. It is also ideal in odd sized areas and

when ground conditions are bad not allowing you to dig holes in determined places: you can alter the

sections to the length you require.

Posts are dug in at 8' (2.4mt) spacing's with a timber gravel board nailed to the posts at ground level.

The back rails  are nailed to the back of the fence posts. Each individual boards are sat on the gravel board and nailed to the back rails

Most kit form F/Edge Fencing comes in 8' (2.4mt) and 10' (3mt) post spacing with 2 or 3 back rail set on 4" (100mm) posts with 24 F/Edge slats nailed on vertical, these are normally sat on a 8' (2.4mt) or 10' (3mt)  long x 6" (150mm) gravel board,

 All timber used is home grown and  pressure treated green.

The 6' (1.8mt) and 5' (1.5mt) high Feather Edge Kit Form need 3 back rails, and the  4' (1.2mt)  and 3' (.90mt) high Feather Edge Kit Form need 2.
